Horse riding trip gear

  • 1 pair of socks per day, light to medium, towel/face cloth
  • 2 pair gloves, one for riding, one insulated
  • Binoculars, flash light, batteries (camp-based trips)
  • Biodegradable soap/shampoo (camp-based trips)
  • Comfortable riding pants (jeans), riding helmet (optional)
  • Empty pillow case (camp-based trips, for jacket to make pillow)
  • Fishing equipment, licenses (often available at the ranch)
  • Footwear for riding, good support and above the ankle
  • Light weight lycra shorts (bike shorts)
  • Medications (allergic reaction to bee/wasp stings?)
